How to Edit a PDF for Free
Add text overlays using page numbers, coordinates and font sizes.
Quick steps
- Open the Edit tool. Go to pdfoncall.com/edit.
- Add your PDF. Drop the file — nothing uploaded.
- Add a text note. Click Add text note, enter its text, then set the page, X/Y coordinates and font size.
- Download. Save the edited PDF.
What you can edit
- Add new text on top of the page.
- Set the page number and position for each text note.
- Adjust note font size before downloading.
- Existing text, images and interactive form fields are not editable here. Use Sign PDF for a drawn signature.
When to use another editor
Use a fuller editor when you need to replace existing text, fill interactive forms, redact sensitive content, or preserve a complex layout. This tool adds text overlays only.
