Frequently asked questions
Can I really use it free with no signup?+
Yes. 3 tasks a day, every day, no account needed. Only upgrade if you need more or want the Pro perks.
What's the difference between Day Pass and Pro?+
Day Pass gives you unlimited tasks for 24 hours for $2 — perfect for a one-off project. Pro is $6/month for unlimited tasks year-round with priority processing.
Can I cancel Pro anytime?+
Yes. Cancel from your account in one click. You keep access through the end of your billing period.
Are my files uploaded to your servers?+
Everyday PDF tools and Permit Prep process supported files locally in your browser. AI Chat is different: your messages and any PDF text you attach are sent to our AI provider. Account and payment information is handled separately. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Does a plan or Day Pass include Permit Prep?+
No. Free, Day Pass and Pro cover the everyday PDF tools. Permit Prep is a separate $29 one-time package per plan set.
Do you offer refunds?+
If a tool doesn't work for your file, email customerservice@pdfoncall.com within 7 days and we'll refund you.
Is there a free trial of Pro?+
The free tier is your trial — 3 tasks/day forever. When you're ready for unlimited, upgrade for $2 (one day) or $6 (a month).
