Lower the whitening slider. It clamps the background progressively, so pencil and light ink survive at mid settings.
Does it fix glare too?+
Partly. Diffuse glare flattens out well; a hard specular reflection on glossy paper cannot be recovered — re-shoot at a slight angle.
